Meet Iurii Haiduchenko, a methodologist and teacher of Ukrainian language and literature.
He is also an active participant and co-founder of the "Teacher goes to the UAF" community, which has already united hundreds of educators. This project is designed to help our brave teachers who hold not only the educational front, but also the real one. Helps teachers who picked up a rifle and joined the Armed Forces since the beginning of the war.
"It all started with "getting a few bulletproof vests", and then the needs only grew every day: three cars, thermal imagers, walkie-talkies, scopes, headphones, a lot of things... Joined their efforts with other communities, teachers continue to join the project",
.says Mr. Yuriy and emphasizes that teachers are important especially now, because by their example they show the future generation that Ukrainians choose Victory through joint efforts.
Though, the war is not only taking place at the battlefield.
"Our initiative is to create such a reliable home front so that teachers are more protected and feel supported by their colleagues. With the joint efforts of the "Teacher goes to the Armed Forces" community, it was possible to implement many mini-projects, such as "Car for philologists", "Sight for historians", "Thermal imager for teachers of the defence of Ukraine". Educators not only from Ukraine, but also from abroad united around these projects. At the moment, we want to congratulate our teachers at the UAF on the Teacher's Day - to buy cars and optics", -
our teacher explains the mechanics of volunteering and announces new projects designed to help teacher defenders from the front lines.
This is another story of strength, perseverance and help. A story about what exactly brings our Victory closer!
