Dear parents, if you would like your child to study at Novopecherska school, there are the following steps to be taken:

• fill in the enrollment form
• visit the Open House Day. We will send you an invitation
• take part in the enrollment competition

Enrollment examinations

Communication with parents and children takes place within 1,5-2 hours.

Communication with parents

We invite parents to a group interactive interview, during which we get acquainted and discuss important issues of studying at our school (specifics of the educational process, expectations of learning, cooperation with parents, feedback, etc.).

Communication with children

Students take part in interviews with teachers and a psychologist for 1-1,5 hour.

First, communication takes place in a mini-group with peers, during which the psychologist watches the children. There are a few important things for us: the child's motivation for studying, the general level of development of learning and cognitive processes, communication skills and emotional state of the child. Then there are interviews with teachers which show the level of academic knowledge of the student in the program on the following subjects:

For 2-4 grades:

• Math;
• Ukrainian;
• English.

For 5-8 grades:

• Math;
• Ukrainian language and literature;
• English.

Education in Novopecherska school is in Ukrainian, so knowing the language is obligatory.

Then a representative of the school administration communicates with the families, because we consider parents to be active participants of the educational process and accept not only the child with his/her academic achievements, but also the whole family with its values and principles. That is why we expect both parents to be present.

According to the results of interviews, the School reserves the right to refuse the child in the enrollment.

Enrollment 

After the announcement of a positive result on the enrollment examinations parents or guardians must confirm their intention to study by signing the contract of study within 2 weeks.

At the time of signing the contract you must provide the following:

• A statement from a parent (provided at the office with a contract);
• Photocopy of birth certificate of the child. You must provide Ukrainian certificate or notarised Ukrainian translation;
• Copy of passport (1, 2 pages and pages of registration) and identification code of the parent who signs the contract.

After signing the agreement, by September 1st you must provide the following:

• Medical card of the child (form 026 / о) from the previous educational institution;
• A photocopy of the child's immunisation card (Form 063/o). You can get this in the clinic or from your pediatrician;
• Medical health certificate and the child's readiness for school certificate (Form 086-1/0) with a note on the permission to visit the pool. You can get this from your pediatrician;
• The personal file from the previous place of study. A certificate of readiness to take your child to Novopecherska school can be obtained at the reception after the conclusion of the contract and payment. This certificate should be provided at the last place of the child's education to issue a personal file.​
